CEO & Founder

Marc has spent over 30 years guiding family office and wealth management clients through personalized financial strategies. A Certified Financial Planner® Practitioner, he is affiliated with the College for Financial Planning and the Financial Planning Association (FPA). He has also served as a Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Arbitrator and is a member of the American Numismatic Association.

Marc earned his Bachelor of Science in Economics from Purdue University in 1990. Beyond working with clients, he is passionate about educating the next generation and regularly speaks to groups of all ages about financial planning and investing.

Outside of work, Marc is actively involved in his church and finds joy in spending time with his wife and five daughters.

Paul Burgdorf

Chief Operating Officer

With over three decades of experience spanning technical innovation, strategic operations, and a personal touch, Paul has been instrumental in enhancing Harvest's core business functions and client experience since joining in 2009.

He began his career with a decade in R&D at Procter & Gamble before transitioning to consulting as a Director at Ipsos North America for six years, advising Fortune 500 clients.

Paul earned his MBA from Xavier University in 1998 and completed a Bachelor of Science from Western Kentucky University in 1991.

A rare privilege, Paul works with his lifelong friend, Marc, with over 50 years of friendship that has grown into a strong professional partnership.

Outside of work, Paul enjoys spending time with his lovely wife, Cathy, and traveling to visit their adult children currently in four states. He also finds time to bike on the Loveland Trail, hike, split firewood for fun, and return to the family farm whenever possible.

Bruce Mason

Senior Vice President

Bruce brings decades of experience in financial planning, investment research, and portfolio management. Since joining Harvest in 2008, he has led research and trading and developed disciplined strategies to help clients navigate the markets with confidence. Before Harvest, he spent 12 years as a financial planner, research analyst, and portfolio manager at Haberer Registered Investment Advisor.

Bruce earned his MBA from the University of Cincinnati in 2001 and his Bachelor of Science in Economics from Michigan State University in 1993.

Outside of work, Bruce enjoys both digital and film photography as well as spending time outdoors with his family.

Monica is a Certified Financial Planner® Practitioner and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® and brings over 20 years of experience helping families, widows, and divorcees build financial confidence. She creates tax-efficient strategies, simplifies retirement planning, and helps clients navigate estate planning and spend-down approaches.

Monica graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Management. She also holds certifications as a Certified Financial Planner® Practitioner and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst®. She is a member of the Collaborative Law Group of Cincinnati and the Financial Planning Association (FPA).

In her free time, Monica explores her creative side through calligraphy, sewing, and crafting projects. She enjoys making hats, baking, and spending time with her husband and five children.

With over 20 years of experience, Joy brings expertise and dedication to each client relationship.

Joy earned her MBA at Xavier University in 2004. She also completed her Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communication from the University of Cincinnati in 1996.

Outside of work, Joy enjoys walks, gardening, reading, and playing Euchre with her husband, children, and extended family. She also loves vacationing and spending quality time with friends and loved ones.

Gaye graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She values Harvest's collaborative, client-first team culture and brings that dedication to her work every day.

Outside of work, Gaye advocates for 100 Women of Talis Care and serves on the Board of the AngeLink Community Foundation. She enjoys Florida's outdoor activities, watching their son pitch for the AAA Cubs, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Matt oversees financial planning and manages held-away retirement accounts, ensuring clients have well-structured investment strategies. He prepares and presents financial plans, selects asset allocations, and handles trading and rebalancing to align accounts with client goals. He brings deep expertise to the team, with over 16 years in private wealth management and institutional finance.

Matt earned his Master of Accountancy from Northern Kentucky University in 2010 and, prior to that, an MBA at Xavier University in 2006. He also completed a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Xavier University in 2000. He joined Harvest in 2023.

Outside of work, Matt enjoys college football, attending concerts, and spending time with family and friends.

Shelley brings over 20 years of professional experience to her role where she works closely with the CEO to manage clients and their financial needs. Shelley supports advisors by assisting with client requests, onboarding new clients, and coordinating the quarterly reporting process to provide timely statements. As a Notary Public for the State of Ohio, she also provides notary services to clients when needed.

Shelley loves helping clients with their financial needs and values the supportive “work family” culture at Harvest.

Outside the office, Shelley enjoys spending time with her three daughters, fur-babies, and friends. She loves beach vacations, DIY home projects, and baking. In warm weather, you’ll find her working on her yard, flowers, and garden.

Ben supports Marc in serving clients, conducting client reviews, and managing special projects. He also assists with financial planning needs and works to bring in new clients. With nine years of experience at the Social Security Administration and five years in the finance industry, Ben brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to his role at Harvest.

Ben graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Milligan University. He joined Harvest in 2023 and enjoys being part of a fantastic team that serves wonderful clients.

Outside of work, Ben spends time with his wife and two children, follows IU basketball, Notre Dame football, the Colts, Reds, and Pacers, and enjoys hiking and outdoor adventures with family and friends.

Abigail supports the advisors by onboarding new clients and managing a variety of client and advisor requests. She processes transactions, updates accounts, prepares paperwork, runs reports, and coordinates with custodians to ensure everything is completed accurately and on time.

Abigail earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Lee University in 2017. She is a Notary Public of the State of Ohio and joined Harvest in 2020. Abigail appreciates the camaraderie and family-focused culture of the team and community volunteering.

Outside of work, Abigail spends time with her husband and daughter, meets up with friends, and explores Cincinnati's food scene and pop-up events. She also loves trying new recipes and visiting the Zoo.

Andrea leads processes and procedures at Harvest, focusing on smooth operations and continuous improvement. She manages onboarding, performance management, and special projects while supporting internal operations, team life, and communications. Her priority is supporting the team and helping Harvest thrive.

Andrea earned her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Michigan in 2008. She moved to Cincinnati in 2012 and joined Harvest in 2021, and is also a Notary Public for the State of Ohio.

Andrea loves that faith and family are at the foundation of Harvest's work and the way the team treats each other. Andrea also enjoys cooking, experimenting as a mixologist, and spending time outdoors. She loves college sports, music, and time with her husband, two children, their cat Jack, and extended family and friends.

Heather has served as Office Administrator since 2022. She keeps the office running efficiently, handling phone calls, bookkeeping, scheduling, and creating a welcoming environment for clients. Heather is a Notary Public for the State of Ohio.

Heather attended Wright State University before pursuing a career in office administration. She loves the friendly, professional atmosphere at Harvest and enjoys helping clients feel comfortable during their visits.

Outside of work, Heather cheers on her son in his sports, raises chickens, hikes, and spends time outdoors with family and friends.

Dana handles technical issues around the office and works on projects to improve efficiency and security at the firm. She monitors systems to maintain cybersecurity and keeps daily operations running smoothly. Her focus is on solving problems, supporting the team, and making Harvest a better place to work.

Dana earned her associate degree in information technology in December 2023. Originally from Missouri, she moved to Ohio in 2013 and joined Harvest in 2023.

Dana loves traveling, especially on cruises. An old soul, she loves 80s and 90s concerts. Time with her family is a priority, including weekly visits with her grandparents and their dog, July, as well as adventures with her mom.

Ryan earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University in 2019. He values Harvest's dedication to always putting clients' interests first.

Outside of work, Ryan enjoys reading, watching movies, trying new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends. He is also actively involved in his local church.
